Since the last soda can make I've been looking for other ideas too, so I have come up with this quick design, it's a bracelet :)
So here it is, one of my quickest and easiest makes, and because they look so pretty you may get addicted to making them :) I brought a set of hobby knifes two days ago, I saw them in a 99p store that's in town and thought I would use them just until I buy a proper set. So obviously it cost me 99p lol by you get the knife with 6 changeable blades so its quite a good deal already but there's more to come, the quality of the blades are really good, they cut through paper perfectly and even can pierce aluminium cans. To say the least I was shocked as from my experience things from 99p or £1 stores are ok but not great but these prove you an find a good deal if you look :) The test now is to see how long they last, oh there was only one small letdown and that's it's a bit awkward to change blades but I suppose I need to get used to it, and it didn't come with a case but I wouldn't expect it to for 99p lol This is my new idea, a small tray made from a soda can, I have already tried it out and because it is a quick and simple make, I have filmed and edited the tutorial and will upload it tomorrow.
It's a cute little project and can be used as an ash tray or just a tray to keep jewellery or findings in it, or anything else for that matter :) So keep an eye out for the tutorial tomorrow. I just saw a tutorial using soda cans and it gave me a different idea for the use of cans so I'm now going to have a quick go at making it then hopefully will be making it into a tutorial :) if it works out then it will be quite handy as I do get through a lot of soda cans lol
Since my 1,000 subs giveaway I have had quite a few new subscribers, thoughto some people it may not seem a lot, to me it's amazing and I'm thankful for each and every one of them. So THANK YOU to all of my subscribers :) Kelly Draven is our jewellery that's more gothic themed, there's not a lot of it yet but I've been working on a few new charms here's two of them. The red one just has a simple vampire teeth charm in it and the other has a "blood" filled vial, the background on both is made up from micro marbles :) I am now introducing my Make Of The Week, this is where I will show my favourite thing that I had made that week. It can be either a tutorial or just a new idea I was testing out.
It will be shown in the side bar >>>>> The Juice Pouch Bag will be the first to be the Make Of The Week, keep an eye out for next weeks make :) I did start adding my YouTube videos to blogger a while ago but then didn't have time to keep it up to date, so tomorrow I am going to be spending all day getting it all up to date so when I add a new tutorial on YouTube it will also go on my blogger page :)
These small rolls of duct tape are the only coloured ones I can find. If anyone knows where I can get some colour or pattern duct tape in UK please let me know. I would love to try some duct tape crafts :) |
